Conference Venue
MedGU-26 will be hosted in Cairo, Egypt, at the premises of National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG), one of the leading scientific research institutions in the region dedicated to astronomy, geophysics, Earth sciences, space sciences, and related interdisciplinary research fields.
Located in the historic district of Helwan in southern Cairo, the institute provides a unique scientific environment combining academic excellence, research heritage, and convenient access to the main cultural and historical attractions of the Egyptian capital. Established in 1839, NRIAG is among the oldest scientific institutions in the Middle East and Africa and has played a major role in advancing geosciences, seismology, geomagnetism, astronomy, and environmental research in the region.
The MedGU-26 scientific activities will take place in the institute’s conference facilities, offering participants modern spaces for plenary lectures, parallel sessions, workshops, networking activities, and scientific exhibitions. Dedicated indoor and outdoor areas will also host several social and networking events throughout the conference.
Participants will benefit from the exceptional atmosphere of the venue, located on elevated grounds offering panoramic views over Cairo, including remarkable night views of the city skyline and the Pyramids area.
